Reported Crop Circles for the State of Illinois -

Belleville, Saint Clair County (January 1, 1975)

Two witnesses claim to have seen an enormous orangish-yellow BOL land in a wooded area near their rural property about 9:20 PM. They said it remained on the ground for about five minutes before rising again up into the sky. The area where the object landed was flattened, and was said to measure 360 yards long by 50’ wide. The same object may have been seen by other witnesses both before and after this incident in nearby communities.

This location is very close to Scott Air Force Base.
